“Back! Back!” “Yes, I knowww-AHHHH!” Yes, we’re back with this year’s fall play report, The Game’s Afoot by Ken Ludwig. The play had an amazing cast this year with Clynt Oden as William Gillett, Hailey Bixby as Martha Gillett, Cohen Rice as Simon Bright, Aly Eck as Aggie Wheeler, Chloe June as Madge Geisel, Nolan Ford as Felix Geisel, and last, but certainly not least, Jackson Delaney as Inspector Goring. The actors brought the story to life by transporting us back to a Christmas scene in the mid to late 1950s that had an air of mystique and wonder.
Even though they are important, the actors are only part of the production, so we must acknowledge the crew who helped with everything behind the scenes. They did everything from making the candy buckets, to the bulletin board design, the wonderful stand at Indian Fest, and much more.
Finally, our wonderful directors, Mrs. Ford and Ms. Sones, who helped put everything together. The play would not have been as successful without them. Ultimately, the play was a success and a process that all enjoyed thanks to all the wonderful people who made it happen.
