Mums In Need was privileged to attend the Soroptimist 98th Annual Charter Luncheon hosted by Soroptimist International.
The event featured an inspiring talk from Giselle Rodrigues, who spoke about her experiences during her year serving as Mistress Cutler of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire and the work carried out to support communities across the region.
Miranda, a Mums In Need Ambassador, attended the luncheon on behalf of the charity and shared information about the work we do to support mums and children affected by post-separation abuse. Events like this are a valuable opportunity to raise awareness and build connections with organisations and individuals who want to support our mission.
During the event, Miranda also had the pleasure of meeting Safiya Saeed, creating another positive connection to help raise awareness of the work of Mums In Need across the community.
We would like to give a big thank you to Soroptimist International for hosting such a wonderful event and for their continued support in raising funds for Mums In Need. Partnerships like these help us continue supporting mums rebuilding their lives after abuse.
