Mums In Need, hosted a stand at the Rotherham United match on 14 March to raise awareness and vital funds for our work.
Our CEO Laura Riley, alongside ambassadors Cat and Josephine, attended the event and spent the day speaking with fans about the impact of post-separation abuse and our work at Mums In Need.
Throughout the match day, supporters took part in a range of fundraising activities, including: A charity raffle, our popular “Name the Teddy” game and merchandise sales to support our charity.
We are delighted to announce that Maria, a Bolton Wanderers F.C. supporter visiting the game, won the Guess the Teddy competition and was thrilled with her prize.
During the event, we were also thrilled to receive a £1,000 donation from Rotherham United Community Trust, raised during our 25-mile walk to Mansfield, alongside the Community Trust completing 100 miles to Northampton Stadium. These funds will help us continue our vital work supporting mums facing post-separation abuse. 💜
We'd like to give a huge thank you to Rotherham United for the opportunity to attend the match and for their ongoing support of Mums In Need. Community partnerships like this help us raise awareness of post-separation abuse and ensure more mums can access the help they need and deserve.
