The Problem

Teaching is a human process. Getting to know your students takes time. Creating engaging lesson material that is adaptive and differentiated takes time. Time is the most valuable resource that a teacher has, however, for years the number one challenge all educators are facing is that they do not have enough time. Marking and providing feedback for student work is one of the most time consuming things that a teacher will take part do as a part of their job with little evidence surrounding how effective this use of time is for student learning. The average teacher spends approximately 9 hours per week grading student work (Henshaw, 2016). At GradeAIssist we want to address this issue, and give teachers back the most valuable resource that they so desperately need. This will mean that teachers in your district will be able to be more effective in the classroom and can save time and therefore money on tedious tasks like grading.
