The Public Safety Law Enforcement program at El Capitan High School is equipped with industry-standard equipment. The students have access to: handcuffs, training batons, textbooks, VR use of force simulator, fingerprinting supplies, Chromebooks, casting materials, blood spatter supplies, handcuffing dummies, rescue mannikins, a 165 lbs dummy for dragging, alternative light sources, blue star, DSLR cameras, crime scene packaging supplies, crime scene documentation supplies, CPR Dummies, and first aid supplies.
There is a large cargo container used for additional storage. There is a concrete slab next to the container where the POST standard physical agility testing equipment is kept.
The classroom is equipped with a folding whiteboard table, which can be easily moved to create a large open space for training. There is shelving for organizing classroom supplies and two large touch-screen smart TVs.
