Already, you’ve demonstrated your brilliance by choosing this career pathway. It also means that you are already incredibly creative or have an incredible amount of creativity locked away inside you that we shall unleash like the Kraken! These courses fall within the Career and Technical Education, Arts Media, and Entertainment pathway. They are designed to prepare you to work in an industry straight out of high school. The more you delve into these classes the more prepared you will find yourself to work straight out of high school. Theatre and film are also academic and scholarly, therefore this pathway will prepare you for a degree if you choose to pursue it! Likewise, you could work in the industry as you put yourself through school and obtain those degrees! Whether you want to be on the stage, screen, or behind the scenes, the entertainment industry is a broad and rich field that offers career opportunities for academic scholars, artisans, and industry specialists---your ambition is your only limit. Our hope is that you enjoy yourself in this class and at the minimum walk away with public speaking skills that will enhance the rest of your education and hopefully, your life. Let’s have some fun!
