Mr. Teague's Classroom

Room 209 928-649-4405

My name is Jason Teague, and this is my 12th year teaching Visual Art at Mingus Union high School. I am excited to start the new school year in the classroom so that I can help push my students into new realms of artistic exploration and understanding.

I have real world art experience that I bring into the classroom. My artwork has been independently published, and I am comfortable working with a variety of artistic media. I earned by B.A. in Art Education from the University of Southern Maine and my M.A. in Educational Technology and Curriculum Development from Grand Canyon University.

Outside of school, I lead an active life between spending time with my wife and sons while fulfilling my goals of being creative. I am still a working artist, I am an active musician in the community, and love to get out on the river on my kayak.
