Online Students

Mingus Union High School District offers a completely remote opportunity for students to earn their high school diploma. This is called Mingus Online Academy, not to be confused with The Academy at Mingus.

The major difference between the two lies mostly in the final product - a high school diploma. Students who complete their high school credits through Mingus Online Academy earn an "online" diploma, different from the high school diploma in that an online diploma is often not accepted at major colleges and universities, as well as the military.

Another difference is that students who are enrolled in Mingus Online Academy follow their own schedule, rather than the schools. They are working at their own convenience.

Students who are over 18 will be subjected to a high school credit check to determine if your high school credits can be earned before you reach the age of 21.
