What was your favorite activity when you were a child? I loved travelling to different parts of the country with my family. (And trying their food obviously!)
What led to your decision to want to study in the United States? Having interned with multiple organisations abroad and participated in a variety of academic international fellowships, I realised that I preferred the open-ended yet outcome focused education the liberal arts offered here in the States. I also knew that I wanted to meet people from all around the world and learn from them which is why I decided to move away from India.

What was your favorite activity when you were a child? My favourite thing to do has always been dancing. I remember being reprimanded for randomly dancing to music in my head in public places even as a kid. I also loved doing Taekwondo and am a black belt, although out of practice now.
What led to your decision to want to study in the United States? The education in the field of psychology is better in USA than India. I have also always been someone who loves learning about new cultures and meeting people from all over the world. The differences in culture and upbringing and the consecutive differences in personality and thinking are very interesting to me.

What is your favorite food? I absolutely love crab legs, fried shrimp, calamari, just seafood in general honestly. But I also really like hamburgers and a lot of sweet foods.
What are your hobbies? I like to play video games (like animal crossing or overwatch), I like to read sometimes (currently reading I’m glad my mom died by Jeanette McCurdy, my favorite book is The Book Thief, I had a chance to reread some parts recently and some parts made me realize things I missed when I read it the first time), not sure if this is a hobby but I love collecting figures, big and small, i love to watch shows and discuss them and the characters, I love to have videos about my interests in the background while I’m doing literally anything.

What was your favorite activity when you were a child? I loved to watch cartoons as kids but I could not tell you what any of the episodes meant because I only spoke Spanish for a big part of my childhood.
