Work permit applications are available to be downloaded above, or you can request a hard copy in Ms. Honeycutt's office. Please fill out student and family information and obtain a parent signature.
Your place of employment, upon hiring you, then provides contact information and signature.
Return the completed application to Ms. Honeycutt and allow 2 business days to receive a completed work permit.
Education Code 49110.5 requires that beginning August 1, 2024, every minor submitting a Statement of Intent to Employ a Minor and Request for a Work Permit-Certificate of Age (B1-1) must be given a hardcopy of the Labor Rights Information Sheet based on the AB 800 Information Sheet Template, linked above.
Minimum requirements to be granted a work permit:
Overall GPA of 2.0 or higher at most recent progress report and/or final grading period
Student must be in good standing with attendance and behaviors, as determined by the school administration
