OUR SCHOOL

Mudita is a small school dedicated to providing the best possible environment for the academic development of children of all ages. We lay importance on creating an open and welcoming atmosphere, and being more than just a place to study. Since 2022, we run the Mudita School in Mae Sot to provide aid and education to the local migrant community.

Education in three steps

Mudita School is structured into three age levels: Primary, Middle, and Highschool. Each class accommodates up to 20 students, overseen by two of our dedicated teachers from a team of nine.

The Primary class belongs to our youngest students, aged 7-11, fostering a nurturing environment. Moving up, the Middle class is designed for students aged 11-13, providing an engaging educational experience. The High School level is tailored for those pursuing GED, (International Highschool Diploma) with students aged 13-19 benefiting from a specialized curriculum.

Our division ensures a tailored approach to education at every stage of a student's development.

Mudita Eco Farm

Step into the heart of Mudita Eco Farm, where a thriving community embraces the principles of permaculture and sustainability. Our diverse crops, including tomatoes, zucchini, bananas, and coffee, flourish in fields designed to harmonize with nature.

Beyond our crops, our plant nursery, and an advanced compost and watering system is showing our commitment to sustainable living. At Mudita, permaculture is more than a practice; it's a way of life that reverberates through our community, fostering a deep and meaningful relationship with nature. Join us in cultivating a sustainable future at Mudita Eco Farm.

Volunteers

Mudita School welcomes many volunteers, most of whom choose to stay for weeks or even months. These dedicated helpers contribute not only to manual tasks around the property but also engage in teaching students across all age groups. Their diverse skills and experiences bring a wealth of new ideas, creating a dynamic exchange where they learn from us, and we learn from them. It's a collaborative environment that enriches the educational experience for everyone involved.

Partner Schools

Mudita School collaborates with global partner schools, including Community School Heidelberg, HPC, and schools in Thailand. Together, we lead projects supporting local communities. HPC students spearhead fundraising efforts, ensuring vital donations. Collaborative decision-making guides resource allocation for families in need.

Our partnership extends beyond projects, fostering personal connections. Zoom calls and introductory videos create a network that transcends physical boundaries. Through these collaborations, our collective aim is to make a positive impact on the world around us and reach out to the world.

PROJECT CONNECT

Explore our exciting initiative, 'Project Connect,' designed to facilitate the first interaction among students from overseas. As part of this endeavor, we've crafted introductory videos showcasing our school and class community, fostering a warm and welcoming environment for students to connect.
