The Department of Teaching & Learning at Muckleshoot Tribal Schools is proud to support our 2023-2024 transformation goals:
MTS will increase the percentage of students attending 90% or more of available school days from 83.18% to 85% or higher on or before June 7, 2024.
MTS will increase the percentage of students performing on or above grade level in Mathematics from 2.67% to 10% or higher a measured by the state assessment in the spring of 2024.
MTS will increase the percentage of students performing on or above grade level in English Language Arts/Reading from 13.14% to 20% or higher as measured by the state assessment in the spring of 2024.

MTS CERTIFICATED EDUCATOR FRAMEWORK FOR EVALUATION
At Muckleshoot Tribal Schools, we utilize a culturally-relevant, modified version of the 2022 Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teachers and the Washington Professional Educator Standards Board's Cultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Standards for Educators (2020).
Instructional Coaches at Muckleshoot Tribal Schools are non-evaluatory partners. Though they do not utilize the MTS evaluation framework in their work with teachers, they are happy to assist you on your journey towards becoming a "distinguished" practitioner.
