Swimming

Appropriate swimwear includes, but may not be limited to: swim shirts, swim shorts or athletic mesh shorts, one-piece swimsuits, or a 2-piece suit with a t-shirt that covers the torso. 

Inappropriate swimwear includes a Speedo-type swimsuit and a 2-piece bathing suit, worn without a shirt.

If you miss a swimming class due to absence, you can make that class up for full credit on THURSDAYS after school or during CLUB period. If you are unprepared for a swim class, you are not eligible to make that class up. Swim make-ups will be performed in the pool when make-ups are offered.

The physical education department allows females to use a parental excuse for their menstrual cycle during a swimming class. This temporarily excuses the student allowing them to make up the swim class after school for full credit.
