Scraping is a very fun activity that helps the hockey players and pays for the FSC's ice time!Â
Anyone can scrape as long as they feel comfortable to push a shovel on the ice! We have two scheduled scraping practices during our ice time so you can learn the rules and patterns, and get comfortable with the shovel!
Scraper duties:
Shovel the accumulated snow off the ice in the middle of each period to help improve the ice quality for the hockey players
Help pick up hats, pucks, teddy bears, etc. during special events
Scraper benefits:
Get into the game free!
Skip the long line!
Watch the game right at the glass either by the beer garden or by the door near the student section!
Eat snacks between periods!
Help the hockey players!
