Requirements

• Dues 

  • $20 per semester. Dues must be paid the second time you attend a club practice. These can be paid to the treasurer (Caitlin Balint) in cash or venmo (@caitlin_balint).

  • These help pay for ice time as well as other items the club purchases like advertising materials, show props and costumes, materials used during practice (like the airfly pro) and social event materials. 

• Volunteering to raise money for ice time, must choose at least one avenue listed below, both will equate to about 6 hours of service

  • Scraping: must attend at least 2 hockey games as a scraper per semester

  • Fundraisers: must participate in the fundraiser for that semester

Members should sign up asap for games or fundraisers to make sure they meet the requirements by the end of the semester and fill out the volunteer choice form below to let us know how you plan to fulfill your volunteer requirements and if you can afford $20 per semester. 

By not fulfilling the above requirements a member will be considered inactive and will not be allowed to participate in banquets or major shows for that semester. Members who are inactive two semesters in a row will no longer be allowed to be a member of the FSC. Members who feel that they are unable to complete the requirements but would like to be in the club may contact the president to work out if anything can be done or requirements can be substituted. Officers will also fulfill all member requirements. Anyone who does not fulfill the requirements for either the spring or fall semester will not be allowed to run for an E-Board position in the next year. 

Conduct Requirements

Skaters should always be watching out for other skaters on the ice. Everyone has equal rights to space on the ice, but if someone is actively performing an element (Jump, spin, etc.) please stay clear of them. 

Our club is a place for skaters of all levels to feel welcome, have fun, and learn. If any members are making others uncomfortable E-board will discuss with them options to prevent further discomfort. If efforts are not made, members causing the disturbance will be asked to no longer attend club practices and events.
