High-Performance Computing Shared Facility
We have access to Suprior HPC shared facility at MTU.
Superior has total 181 CPU compute nodes - providing 123 TFLOPS, which is used for our computational codes.
In addition Superior has 5 GPU compute nodes - each having 16 CPU cores (Intel Xeon E5-2670 2.60 GHz), 64 GB RAM and 4 NVIDIA Tesla M2090 GPUs - providing 13 TFLOPS, which is used for our Machine Learning models
We have shared access to the following allocation in the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC):
• CPU Node Hours: 6,700 on Perlmutter; GPU Node Hours: 11,000 on Perlmutter.
• Archival Storage Award (TB): 1; Project Storage Award (TB): 20
We have four high performance Dell Precision Tower Workstations at our computational lab.
