Extreme Weather Research Project, January 2018
During our "Reading the Weather, Reading the World" nonfiction reading unit, students picked an extreme weather topic that they wanted to learn more about. In teams, students learned how to research to find information and gain knowledge and how to read across multiple sources, among many other skills. Students then compiled their research into a presentation, which they shared with their peers! They did a great job :)
