Language Arts is a complex subject!
Our class is set up with the following structures:
Reading Workshop
Writing Workshop
Word Study/Vocabulary
Grammar, Usage, Mechanics
Reading and Writing Notebooks
Reading and Writing Notebooks
Students will use an LA Notebook to express their thinking about what they read by keeping track of that work in a notebook!
Students will also use their notebooks to work through parts of the writing process: brainstorming, planning, revising and editing parts of a draft.
