Welcome to VES! I am so excited to have you in class this year. We are going to have a lot of fun. In math we are going to explore the meaning of multiplication and division. In reading, we are going to participate in book clubs! In writing, we will create our own fairy tales! Throughout the year in social studies, we are going to study geography of the world, the United States of America, and New Jersey. In science, we will study weather, animal adaptations, and forces. Take your time and explore this website. You can also contact me at rbauer@mtsd.us.

Did you know, Miss Bauer is a former bluebird? She went to VES for kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grade! It was a dream of Miss Bauer's to teach at VES, and the dream came true, with lots of hard work! After graduating from Montgomery High School, Miss Bauer recieved her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, Communications, and Special Education. She then went on to get her Masters of Arts in Special Education.

Miss Bauer enjoys traveling the world, spending time with her family, reading, and cooking. She has been to over 25 different countries and she often takes trips to Florida. Miss Bauer is always learning family traditions...like how to make homemade pasta! Currently, she is trying to make gnocchi, and master her Nonna's (grandmother's) sauce.
