About Dr. Bauer
Did you know, Dr. Bauer is a former bluebird? She went to VES for kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grade! It was a dream of Dr. Bauer's to teach at VES, and the dream came true, with lots of hard work! After graduating from Montgomery High School, Dr. Bauer went to Rider University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, Communications, and Special Education. She then went on to get her Masters of Arts in Special Education at Rider University, where she was awarded the 2018 Excellence in Special Education award. Recently, Dr. Bauer obtained her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, from Nova Southeastern University. Her focus in her Strategic Research Plan was special education, collaboration between educators, and how to implement Quality Teaching Rounds (QTRs). Dr. Bauer's research earned the Dr. Charles L. Faires Outstanding Doctoral Research Award for the 2023-2024 academic year at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Bauer enjoys traveling the world, spending time with her family, reading, and cooking. She has been to over 30 different countries and she often takes trips to Florida. Recently, she took a trip up and down the East coast of the U.S.A., where she stopped in places like Charleston, Boston, and Williamsburg. You can find some photos from the trip below. Dr. Bauer is always learning family traditions...like how to make homemade pasta! Currently, she is trying to make gnocchi, and master her Nonna's (grandmother's) sauce.
