Birthdays are exciting!!! All students will be celebrated on or near (if it falls on a weekend, day off, or over the summer) their special day and get chance to share about their plans. Below are some options for students to do for their special day:
Lead the class in a small activity (must be doable with classroom supplies or supplies provided from home)
Make a Kahoot! trivia game all about you (No more than 8 questions - must be shared with and approved by Mr. Martinez prior to sharing)
Read a favorite picture book to the class
Choose the morning meeting greeting and brain break for the day
Create a custom, school-appropriate word search to distribute
Create and share an interesting presentation about themselves or their birthday (Google Slides, poster, quiz, etc.)
Bring party favors or favor bags with non-edible items (must have enough for the entire class). Examples of items that can be included are: pencils, small toys, puzzles. Please ensure that all included items are safe for the school environment.
Any of these can be done with support from Mr. Martinez or by the student themselves. Please contact me with a desired choice before the special day arrives so we can plan a time to do it.
