MIR-Minor Infraction Report
-When a student has a behavior incident that is inappropriate the student will receive an MIR.
-Once an MIR is written parent/guardian are notified of the behavior.
-After four behaviors are documented on an MIR an Office Referral is made and the student is referred to the office.
-After each MIR is written a parent/guardian is notified.
-Each quarter is considered a new start and a student begins a clean slate at the start of each quarter.
Minor Offenses could include:
-Minor physical aggression
-Defiance
-Disruption
-Unprepared to learn
-Offensive Language
-Lying
-Cheating
-Minor vandalization
First MIR students receive a redirect, reteach or conference and parent/guardian contact is made.
Second MIR students receive a redirect, reteach or conference and parent/guardian contact is made.
Third MIR students receive a redirect, reteach or conference and parent/guardian contact is made.
Fourth MIR an Office Referral (ODR) is made, student is sent to the office, student receives consequences from Administration.
*MIR’s can be issued by any Chestnut Hill staff member.*
