Welcome to the Wilson Elementary School music room web page! My name is Mrs. Rachel Krumenauer. As Wilson's full-time elementary music specialist, it is my privilege to teach nearly 500 students each year. From kindergarten through fifth grade, the students and I explore many elements of music, including: melody, harmony, rhythm, texture, tone color, form and expression.

Music is an essential part of every child's education. My mission, as an elementary music specialist, is to encourage my students forward in gaining the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for musical success. Students leave my classroom prepared to listen to and analyze music, to perform, create and respond to music.

I have been teaching music in the Mequon-Thiensville School District since 1992. I came to Wilson Elementary School in 1999. I earned my undergraduate degree from UW-Eau Claire, and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.
