Treble Choir is an elective year-long course offered to students in grades 10-12. It is meant for female students who already have choir experience or want to work on skills at an advanced level. An audition is required and space is limited. Students in this class learn and perform the Tartan Choir music, but are also expected to additionally learn treble ensemble repertoire. Complex singing skills, music literacy and ensembleship are introduced and developed. Students will learn about music primarily through performance in voice, but will also be engaged in a variety of other activities. Students participate in a required concert each trimester. Many additional opportunities and events are provided.
