Winter has finally arrived and so have our winter enrichment offerings! Enrichments are a great opportunity for your child to develop a new skill or interest, and get to spend time with children from other classes and grades.
Students will meet right after school once a week for five weeks. Please take note of the dates, as holidays may impact the duration of classes. If a snow day occurs, affected enrichments will be extended an extra week. Enrichments end at 4:30 each day and pick up is in the main lobby.
You may also sign your child up to attend the After-School Program following their enrichment.
Space is limited for each workshop and slots are given on a first-come first-served basis.
All registration forms must be submitted with payment before your child is considered enrolled.
PTO scholarships are available for students who would like to participate in enrichment activities, but the cost prevents them.
To apply for a scholarship, please click here.
Children are always allowed and encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle to their enrichment.
Please contact our ASP Director, Becca Moro, with any questions: bmoro@mtrsd.org | 625-2521 ext. 1319.
Are you full of original, creative ideas and love to write and/or draw? This enrichment is all about expressing your creativity through the making of zines! What is a zine you ask? A zine is a small homemade magazine created by one person or a small group of people and published using a copy machine. Zines can include words and/or pictures and can be about ANYTHING! You could make a zine about the most ferocious (or cutest) creature in the sea, why 6-7 is the best/worst thing that's ever happened to you, or fanfiction about your favorite book series, and so on! What will you create??
