Spring has arrived and so have our latest enrichment offerings!
Enrichments are a great opportunity for your child to develop a new skill or interest, and get to spend time with children from other classes and grades. Students will meet right after school once a week for five weeks. Please take note of the dates, as holidays and Nature’s Classroom may impact the duration of classes. Enrichments end at 4:30 each day and pick up is in the main lobby. You may also sign your child up to attend the After-School Program following their enrichment. Space is limited for each workshop and slots are given on a first-come first-served basis.
All registration forms must be submitted with payment before your child is considered enrolled.
PTO scholarships are available for students who would like to participate in enrichment activities, but the
cost prevents them. To apply for a scholarship, click here.
Children are always allowed and encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle to their enrichment.
Please contact ASP Director, Becca Moro, with any questions: bmoro@mtrsd.org | 625-2521 ext. 1319.

Together students will be listening to and creating imaginative stories! We will begin by hearing each other's ideas and identifying story building blocks: setting, main characters, plot and resolution. In each session, students will share ideas, collaborate, and dictate stories with guidance while Mr. Byerly scribbles them down. By the next session, the stories will be typed up and read back with the help of the authors. By the end of our enrichment, there might be five stories or twenty-five stories! Each session will include several “body breaks” and everyone will receive printed stories to bring home.
