Hi! Welcome to my teaching portfolio. My name is Sarah Quon, and I am currently a grade 3 teacher with the Calgary Board of Education.

I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life. I was deeply inspired by both of my parents; my mom who was an elementary teacher, and my dad who spent many years as an elementary principal, as well as my own elementary teachers. I constantly witnessed the passion and love that my parents put into their students. I also experienced first-hand the dedication that my teachers put into me and my peers to make us feel special and valued. These are all aspects I hope to one day administer in my own classroom.

My teaching goal is to create a safe and inclusive environment where every student feels welcomed, respected, and supported to take learning risks. I strive to have a lasting impact on the lives of my students.
