My opinion about the Oxford comma: Just know your context and your setting and follow your employer's lead. In terms of media writing, if writing for media in Canada, the prevailing source is the Canadian Press Stylebook, which says NO Oxford comma. This is also true for writing for media in United States -- the Associated Press Stylebook say NO Oxford comma when writing for media. But, once again, always write for the context and follow your employer's lead.

So much fun as a graduate student to take a one-week Greek Media Seminar that examined media systems in Greece.

My master's thesis explored public relations in a post-Communist context. I spent a summer in Bulgaria examining public relations practice, academia and media systems. This research was published in The Journal of Public Relations Research.
