The Pro-MO(TION) Lab
Physical activity and health are represented in various ways, in particular by popular media. How physical activity and health are portrayed - and those who promote it - can influence thoughts, expectations, and involvement in activity and other health behaviours.Â
Rooted in behavioural physchology, the aim of our lab is to explore popular representations of physical activity and health in the media and to assess how this can impact behavioural decisions. Our findings can be used to effectively promote physical activity and health, so that we can improve health outcomes for all populations.
