MRUbegin Online Orientation
MRUbegin is your students' online orientation and key to unlocking academic and personal success. They will hear from students, staff, and faculty about navigating the topics of academic expectations, campus culture and services, their rights and responsibilities, and campus life.  They can register here.

Pre-Arrival Workshops

Our pre-arrival workshops are ongoing and held throughout the month of August on various topics related to life at Mount Royal University. You can review the full list of workshops here.

First-Year Mentorship
The First-Year Mentorship Program is for first year undergraduate students at Mount Royal University looking for support transitioning through their first year of university. New students will be matched with a trained upper-year student mentor who will support and guide them through their journey at MRU. Mentors and Mentees will be matched by program or faculty of interest and relevant university goals and experiences. Learn more here. 

New Student Campus Tours

Register for a program specific or general Campus Tour.  During this tour, students will orient themselves to our campus, find spaces and classrooms related to their program, and learn more about the services they can access.

Orientation Days 

Your student has a specific program orientation in-person taking place on either September 3rd or 4th. At Orientation Days, your student will learn more about student life at Mount Royal, how to prepare for their first few weeks and connect with other new students. Orientation Days will also include a mature student orientation event to connect with other mature students. They can register here.
