Calgary Academy's Outdoor Ed Film Night is the annual event planned and hosted by the grade 12 students. This event is designed to celebrate our grade 12's journey through outdoor ed and the accomplishments of all outdoor ed students made throughout the year. The event will showcase films and photos made by the students (you) either on outdoor ed trips or on their own adventures. During the night our audience will vote on photo and summit films winners to receive a Summit Award, along with various other awards that will be presented during the night to celebrate our Outdoor Ed students. This year's Film Night is the first of many more to come.
"What does Outdoor Ed mean to you"
This year's theme asks you to think about what your experience in outdoor ed and the outdoors means to you. This can be why you joined or stayed in outdoor ed, why you think outdoor ed is important in general or to you specifically, or maybe how outdoor ed or the outdoors has helped you in your life. In some way your films, shorts, and photos should reflect this theme in some way.
