Language Partners Program
The Language Partners Program coordinated by International Education is an informal language learning and teaching program that brings together students wanting to learn or practice a new language. Participants get the chance to practice speaking a chosen language in casual conversation outside of the classroom. Participating in the Language Partners program helps students develop fluency and confidence.
The 2022/2023 Language Partners Program is currently underway for students to teach and learn from each other. There is a strong demand for this program! If you are interested in being part of this program please email international@mtroyal.ca

International Kitchen
Once a month, MRU students from around the world gather to cook and share a meal together - each month a new student volunteer hosts a recipe and evening of cooking and celebration as inspired by their culture.
This program is a partnership between International Education, Residence, and Wellness Services

Join our ISSC team!
The International Student Support Centre (ISSC) at MRU provides a vibrant space for students from all backgrounds to meet other MRU students as well as students studying on exchange. The ISSC is staffed by student leaders and volunteers who can provide information, support, and peer-driven programs that connect international and domestic students. The ISSC team plans and creates opportunities for students to participate in fun and engaging social and cultural activities, and provides a space for students to gather to practice language, study, meet new people, build community, and learn from each other.

Archives - Morningside Music Bridge
The Archives is setting up a display about the Morningside Music Bridge program. The Morningside Music Bridge was an international summer music program for teenagers and young adults organized by the MRC Conservatory.
The display will be near the east entrance & Maker Studio on the 1st floor of the Riddell Library & Learning Centre
