Important Dates 2026/2027

Fall Term: TCs will attend one morning per week

Start Date: Week of Sept Sept 20-26, 2026
- October 12-17 - Reading Week - Attendance optional

Winter Term: One full day a week on Wedmesdays

- Start Date: Jan 6th, 2027
  - Feb 15-19 - Reading Week - Attendance optional
- Note: The weekday may change in Winter due to class schedules. (See chart)
  - "Cohort" refers to the class section a student is registered in - their schedules are not flexible, as they have other classes in a semester

What’s required from you?

You will be required to submit a short feedback form at the end of each semester. This form provides feedback to teacher candidates on ways to improve their professional practice.

Being a mentor teacher (MT) is a wonderful opportunity for you to develop as a teacher leader and to have another set of hands to support your students, particularly in the area of literacy but in other subjects as well.
