The Faculty of Arts at Mount Royal University is excited to announce that it is seeking submissions for the inaugural 2026 CURE conference celebrating undergraduate research in the Humanities and Social Sciences to be held 8-10 May 2026. Undergraduate students are invited to submit proposals (250 words maximum) for oral presentations (15 minutes), posters, lightning talks (5 minutes), or for the performance or presentation of creative work.
All presentations will take place on the Mount Royal University Campus, in Calgary Alberta. Registration is complementary for all accepted presenters and includes conference participation, attendance and meals.
Prizes will be awarded for:
Best Paper Presentation in the Humanities
Best Paper Presentation in the Social Sciences
Best Poster Qualitative Methods
Best Poster Quantitative Methods
Prize for Exceptional Creative Work
Proposals (max 250 words) should be submitted here before 16 March 2026.
