This might be one of the best single season performances. And a rookie too? My mind was blown when I saw this guy and what he did. A leading factor for a Peace Shark offense that hit OVER .400 that season. Despite winning 50 games, they lost in the second round of the divisional playoffs to a team that barely made the playoffs two seasons earlier. The Mets would never be good, sure...

Who knew that murder was legal? Apparently, killing your opponents (literally) is part of the game. Undefeated with a sub 2 ERA despite pitching a lot. He suffocated opponents just like the Shimakaze got suffocated in the league playoffs to a team that hadn't won a league title in about 20 seasons (at the time).

Apparently making your reliver come in every game is "normal". But it worked, as 100 innings in the bullpen yielded 9 wins and 17 SVs, which means he, himself, played in 26 games that were victorious. If there was no other pitchers, the team still would have probably clinched a spot in the wildcard. Too bad they would go against a top-tier team, but maybe with a little bit of Daddy magic...

An MVP as a rookie probably will earn you this award, and yes, that is what happened. This dude was so insane that he had a 12.38 FBWAR* (a concept I made up), which is just astronomically high. The only teams I can roast here is every team that who didn't make a move for him when he stuck in the portal (including me).
*FBWAR - a concept to measure a players WAR in FB (batting only). Take the player, take their RBI's and add that to their total bases. Then, take the 1000th player in the FB rankings that season and take their RBI's and add that to their total bases (position is irrelevant). Make sure to scale up their RBI's and total bases so they are proportionate to the at bats of the first player. Then, add the RBI's and total bases from both players together, then divide that by the number of wins the team with him had. A 12.38 FBWAR means that without Apodaca, the Peace Sharks most likely would have won around 38 games instead of 50. Not exactly WAR, as many components are missing.
