Bowings & Cuts

Bowings are important for the orchestra to be uniform both visually and stylistically! Below are Google folders with images of parts where bowings have been changed. See comments for explanations. If you have a question or need a bowing, please talk to one of the principals in your class or Mr. Reichenfeld.

Guidelines for uploading bowings/cuts for principals

You may need to request editing permissions before trying to upload anything.

1. Take a well-lighted picture of the passage that is marked neatly and clearly
2. Upload to appropriate folders for orchestra and instrument
3. Rename the image file with the following format: "PieceName_measureNumberOrRehearsalLetter.jpg"
4. Google Drive allows you to highlight a section on the picture and comment if an area needs explanation or is confusing
