The Tonka Online Student Newspaper, The Squirrel, was co-founded in 2022 by Isabella Potter and Joshua Carlson, both Class of 2029.

An Amazing Time
After our founding mother and father moved on to high school, two writers—Quinn Schmidt and Constantine (CoDi) Greeman, both Class of 2030—took over as editors.
Together, they created this website for everyone to enjoy, soon leaving The Squirrel in the hands of its writers, who will continue to help it grow and thrive.
