The Acorn Administration is excited to share the April 2026 edition of The Tonka Online Student Newspaper - The Squirrel. 

With spring in full bloom, we bring you a colorful mix of fashion, nail art, seasonal activities, and a new short story. We have a special introduction of the new Tonka Online elementary student newspaper, The Lion, along with interviews with its writers, TO elementary school teachers, our TO Support Administrator, and our IT Coach. On the last day before spring break, The Acorn Administration is excited to share the March 2026 edition of The Tonka Online Student Newspaper - The Squirrel. 

This month, we have interviews with our team of writers, our Computer Science Animation / STEM teacher, as well as our Art teachers. On top of that, we have a new short story, spring fashion, and many spring break games and activities. We have also been working on a special surprise for you - THIS WEBSITE - where you can find all present and past editions of our newspaper. A BIG THANK YOU goes to the Tonka Online elementary newspaper team, The Pride from The Lion, for inspiration and initial guidance. So without further ado, let’s hop into The Squirrel’s World!

This month, we have a surprise Alumni Interview, as well as interviews with our new school counselor, our P.E. teacher, and introductions to our elective courses - French, Spanish, and Culinary Innovations teachers. All combined with a fun mix of culinary flavors, cultures and Olympic sports. This edition of The Squirrel is being published on a special day.
