Olivia is a senior double majoring in Politics and Sociology, is deeply interested in electoral politics and voting rights. She focuses on how electoral systems function and how they can be improved for broader and more accurate representation. Olivia has received professional training from Emerge Vermont to empower women to run for office and has managed multiple state legislature campaigns. During the fall semester she is participating in the Mount Holyoke Semester in D.C. program where she is an intern with the National Network for Youth.
On campus she has worked with the Weissman Center for Leadership as a Leadership and Public Service Fellow for the past two years. Currently, she serves as the Youth Representative for Vermont’s Chittenden County Democratic Committee and participates in her hometown’s democratic committee work. Outside of class, Olivia enjoys singing and performing with the Victory Eights a cappella group. She looks forward to exploring new career opportunities and building on her public service experience during the MHC Semester in D.C. program.
