Jules Camargo is a senior at Mount Holyoke College, double majoring in Critical Social Thought and Politics, with a Nexus in Law, Public Policy, and Human Rights. Originally from Orlando, FL, and with Brazilian heritage, Jules brings a diverse perspective to their studies and campus involvement. As a fellow at the Weissman Center for Leadership, Jules helps connect campus community members with fellowship and leadership opportunities. In the past, Jules has volunteered with Families and Friends of the Wrongfully Convicted, where they assisted with responding to inquiry letters and providing information on obtaining pro-bono legal representation. They are particularly interested in pro-bono immigration law and non-profit work, reflecting their commitment to social justice. Jules is looking forward to participating in the Semester in D.C. program, where they hope to further explore their interests and gain practical experience in the field. With a focus on public service and justice, Jules aims to contribute positively to their community and future career.
