Imari Williams '26

Imari is rising Junior interested in the field of International Relations, with her main focuses within that field being public policy, politics, and national security. Particularly, she is interested in the intersections between international institutions, public policy, and international peace and security. During high school, she was an active participant in volunteer work for non-profit organization Scholastic Revolutionary Mission, which geared towards the education of underprivileged children in Sierra Leone and Liberia. She also volunteered for another non-profit organization STK Sports Academy, which provides physical education and academics to children within Sierra Leone as a way to build a community amongst one another. Through these experiences, Imari has been involved in coordinating many events, initiatives, and other projects related to her former volunteer activities.  On campus, she is a participant of the Model United Nations Club, as well as the Mount Holyoke Fencing club. In her free time she likes to read, dance, and study languages. After college, Imari plans to receive a master’s degree with a focus on International security. With the ultimate goal of serving as a Foreign Service Officer, she will use her time at Mount Holyoke to become the most effective and impactful public servant she can be.
