Diana Perez '26

Diana Perez a sophomore at Mount Holyoke College double majoring in Spanish and Politics. She has spent most of her efforts in community-building in Kansas City where she is a Hispanic Scholarship Fund recipient. As a HDF recipient she spends a lot of time interpreting for first generation spanish-speaking students, as well as for the broader Kansas City Latine community. She also spends a lot of time with voting advocacy groups. Previously, Diana spent last summer working as a research assistant at the University of Washington in St.Louis as part of their first cohort in WUSTEPS (political science PHD pipeline program). She is currently a fellow at the Weissman Center for leadership where she helps coordinate events and create correspondences for them. Diana also is on the executive board for La Unidad where she coordinates the social media on behalf of them. Ultimately, Diana hopes to attend law school after finishing her undergraduate degree. She hopes to continue her work in the Latine community and with voting advocacy.Â
