First and foremost, your feelings and life experiences matter.
So many people have at least one story about a teacher or mentor who believed in them and changed the course of their lives. Many also have at least one story about a teacher who made them feel like they would never succeed.
Especially as the number of students per faculty in CS Departments increases and lectures become larger and more impersonal, TAs are often positioned to be the only direct human contact our students have. If you encourage, support, and guide them, you will can one of those people who changed the course of their lives.
When we are invested in the success of others, we help to create a community of mutual support. When you care about the students you work with and model for them what supportive interactions look like, many of them will learn to care and support each other, and you.

Just as you did at the beginning of this course, we are asking you to complete a brief assessment survey to help us determine whether this course is effective. Click the button labeled "Take the Post-Course Assessment" to access the assessment form.
Your responses will not be linked to any activity you completed in this course, aside from the similar assessment you completed at the beginning. Your responses are meant to assess the course, not you as an individual.
Once you are done, you can click the "Let's finish!" button at the bottom of the page to complete complete the course and provide us with your feedback on the experience.
