It will be possible for TAs completing this course to click through the content without reading it. While we hope that not too many of them do this, we also know that people who have no interest in engaging these topics will not benefit from being forced.
There is a form at the end of each topic that will allow your TAs to indicate to you that they have completed that topic. They are expected to enter some form of identifying information and the email address where the completion report should be sent. If you want them to report their progress to you using this form, you should indicate to them:
What identifying information they should enter, such as their school email address or a participant code you have provided (they should not enter information such as birthdays, social security numbers, or any other information that would leave them vulnerable to identity theft)
Which email address they should enter as the destination for the report (most likely your email address, or the address of their direct supervisor)
The purpose of this form is to give you a method of maintaining some measure of accountability while allowing them to be largely anonymous as they go through the course content.
Here is an example form if you would like to test it. Emails automatically sent using these forms will come from the address aiice.ta.pd@gmail.com
Having TAs complete the survey linked at the end of the course is extremely helpful to us. If you are expecting them to complete the form, they can use a screenshot of the end of survey message as proof of completion. The end of survey message will contain the institution name they provided and a random integer between 18 and 100,000. Here is an example of what a screenshot of that message might look like:
