A Typical Day In First Grade!

Our Morning:

Breakfast is served from 8:30-8:55. School starts at 9:00!

-Morning Meeting/Calendar/Yoga

-Spelling/Phonics

-Daily 5 (reading groups, read to self, work on writing, word work, listen to reading on Epic)

-Snack and Movement Break

-Special (music, art, gym, library or guidance)

-Writer’s Workshop

Our Afternoon: 

12:10-12:35 Lunch

12:35- 1:00 Recess

-Read aloud

-Math 

-Math or Literacy Skills Practice (small groups, review/practice skills learned, work on quarterly expectations)

-Social Studies/Science
