Every year, our FFA chapter develops a Program of Activities (POA) that provides fun opportunities for our members, creates a better chapter, and provides service to our local community. Our POA serves as our roadmap for the activities and events that chapter members will participate in, and it identifies committees you can serve on.
Our Program of Activities is built around three major areas called divisions. Each division focuses its attention on one of the following areas:
FFA members as individuals (Growing Leaders)
-Promote personal and group activities that improve life skills
The chapter as a group of members (Strengthening Agriculture)
-Encourage students to work together
The community as a whole (Building Communities)
-Cooperate with other groups to make the community a better place to live and work
Each division is split into committees that work on a single area. A committee sets goals for what it wants to accomplish, and it plans how to work throughout the year to achieve those goals.
