Your action to defend the hardworking people of Montana helped us win a key victory: on Monday, HB216 was voted down by the House State Administration! We couldn't have made this happen without you.

Unfortunately, another bad bill is being considered in the State Senate. Next on the docket? SB276, a bill to weaken prevailing wage laws.

Prevailing wage laws ensure a minimum level of fair pay and travel reimbursement for construction and building trades workers on publicly-funded projects.

SB276 would make unnecessary changes to Montana's prevailing wage laws by removing existing dispatch cities. That would simply make it harder for smaller communities to build the infrastructure needed to grow their economies.

Together we've stopped attacks on Montana workers before and we can do it again. Take action to combat SB276 by sending a letter to legislators urging them to OPPOSE this bad bill!
