Michael Sandberg runs Totem Tech Comm Studios. He oversees all facets of production and give final approval.
Our staff is made up of over 100 students that serve in several roles. Role desriptions are below along with an application.
All of our students make up the writing staff. This is because a great idea can come from anyone. We work together to develop ideas and write scripts. We write, read, edit, and repeat for each script.
The producer is in charge of production and may change for each script. There are producers for each scene and a producer for the overall project. Producers make sure all parts of production are complete.
Everyone has a voice. Our voice actions are chosen from the staff. They don't just read the words on the page. They breath life into their character.
Graphic Designers use Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and other other digital tools to create posters, backgrounds, and character costumes.
Animators use Wondermedia Storymaker to animate the characters.
Sound engineers use TwistedWave.com and Audacity to edit voice files.
Tech engineers keep our studio running. They help with logins, peripherals, audio cables, microphones, etc..
Editors put the project together. They work collaboratively with the Mr. S. and other editors on WeVideo to align the video, audio, and other files together to complete production.
Artists design backgrounds, character costumes, and posters. They use whatever design tools they are most comfortable with.
The music and sound effects specialists gather the audio files needed for production.
The documentarian used cameras to take photos and videos of our production crews. They interview team members and create a journal for use in our "Making Of" videos.
The webdesigner adds content to our webpage using photos and video from the documentarian.
