This is Ms. Schumacher's 5th year at Totem Middle School. She loves to go hiking and backpacking with her family and friends, go to the zoo, and listen to live music. She loves a diet coke on hot days and a hot chocolate on cold days. Do not feed her pickles or seafood unless it's sushi rolls or salmon. Teaching band and Spanish at Totem is definitely one of her most favorite things to do.
Ms. Schumacher plays trombone in the Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra (SWOJO) and in the Formation Wind Ensemble. Both are Seattle-based all female performing groups. Be sure to check them out!
