LCTE was a wonderful experience and I am so grateful to have been able to have this opportunity. I learned so much through being immersed into new cultures and ways of life. There are many skills and practices that I would like to carry into my teaching as a future teacher, such as continuing to learn about the world around me by staying informed on current events, incorporating current events into content, and being mindful of local policies that may affect my student's lives.
