About Me
I am a rising senior at Michigan State University, entering my student teaching internship. My major is Elementary Education (PK-3), with a minor in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have a passion to learn, which coincides with my future career in teaching.
I am a lifelong Spartan and have loved my time at Michigan State so far. At school, I spend my time with friends attending sporting events, finding new local restaurants and coffee shops, running and being active.
As a native Michigander, I love traveling to my family cottage in Northern Michigan, on Burt Lake. I have many childhood memories up north, and love to share this special place with friends and family!

Why LCTE (Learning, Culture, & Technology in Europe)?
Why LCTE (Learning, Culture, & Technology in Europe)?
I joined the LCTE program because it is one of the only study abroad programs offered at Michigan State that is specifically for future educators. I have also always wanted to travel in Europe, so the locations that LCTE visits were another reason for my interest in the program.
As a future educator, I was very interested in visiting schools in different countries and comparing these schools to my experiences in America. Through the course of my time at MSU, the teacher prep program has challenged us to think about learning and how it occurs globally. This program, seemed to give me the experience needed to provide me iwth skills to be a global educator. As a traveler, I was excited to explore new cities in Europe, interact with others from different cultures, practice new languages, and try new foods.
